Mells daffodil festival Easter Monday 22 APril 2019

Information for street traders

(Green Zone and Blue Zone)

Before the festival you should receive an email with your pitch number, and instructions on how to get to it.

You can download a plan of the pitches from a link in your email, and also from here.

We are giving everyone 30-minute time slots to aim at, so that we minimise traffic jams at the start of the day. Please try to get here at the designated time, and unload as quickly as you can, then park your vehicle before you arrange your stall.

There is always a queue, and we thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation. Please switch your engine off if waiting for a long time, and be considerate of residents.

Pitch numbers will be marked on the floor.

Please bring any furniture or covering you require for your stall – we only provide the space. If it's likely to be windy you won't be able to use guy ropes so bring something to weigh your gazebo down.

Information for traders in the main field (Red Zone)

We will contact you individually to discuss your location and arrival time.

On arrival you should follow signs to the Red Zone.

Packing up

The festival closes at 5 p.m. and stall holders must not begin packing up until 4.30 p.m., at which time the street will re-open for vehicles.

Please take your rubbish!

VERY IMPORTANT: Please can we kindly ask that you take ALL your rubbish with you – we are all volunteers and do not have the manpower or the skip space to deal with extra rubbish from stalls.

Any additional queries please email

Have a great day!

The Committee wishes you an enjoyable and profitable day.
